Accommodation ranges from the former principal’s office to the caretaker’s room.

All rooms are newly renovated, comfortable, and beautifully decorated.

Kangaskoti offers accommodation in 16 cozy and varied rooms, suitable for different needs – from short stays to longer periods.

Some rooms are located in peaceful apartment-style units, where everyone has their own private, soundproof, lockable room – ensuring personal space and privacy.

Upon check-in, you’ll receive a key to your own room, which also allows entry through the main door.

Self check-in is available. We provide clear instructions for your arrival, stay, and activities in the area.

The apartments connect via a hallway to shared facilities, such as the kitchen and lounge area, offering the opportunity to relax and socialize with other guests.

There’s plenty of parking space in the yard, and additional space – even for large vehicles and heavy combinations – is available in the nearby fields.

A grill hut and wood shed are located by the field – perfect for peaceful moments by the campfire.
A lean-to shelter on top of a sandy ridge provides a cozy resting spot with beautiful views.
From the end of the building starts a 1.7 km fitness trail running through beautiful forest terrain – ideal for walking, jogging, or enjoying nature all year round.
The nature of Northern Central Finland, with its clear lakes, vast forests, and mires, offers tranquility for those seeking wilderness peace and activities for every taste.

Our property includes wonderful jogging paths and a nature trail through varied forest terrain.
Experience nature and adventure – rent a fatbike from us and ride carefree through forests, mires, and ridges all year round!
Domestic animals: You may meet chickens, a rooster, and other pets in our yard. If you’d like to visit the animals, please ask!
Salamajärvi National Park offers excellent hiking routes, nature trails, and the chance to see rare Finnish wildlife such as forest reindeer, hares, and fish swimming in clear lakes.
Lake Valkeisjärvi is a crystal-clear spring-fed lake in Lestijärvi, 6 km away, ideal for recreational fishing.
Suomäen Ulvojat offers husky rides and other activities less than 10 km from Kangaskoti.
